New Releases - Travel With Kids Paris and Travel With Kids New York City on DVD.

The Roberts began their traveling careers filming for an educational video company while on a trip around the world. From the Great Wall of China, Indonesia, the Cu Chi tunnels in Vietnam, the temples of Thailand and the Himalayas, with a camera. In the years after returning from their year long trip around the world, The Roberts included many exotic destinations on their quick vacation itinerary whenever they could get away from that silly thing called work. Hiking the Mayan pyramids in Tikal, scuba diving through the Caribbean...

Just a few years after their return, the Roberts embarked on their newest adventure...raising a family. After their first son, Nathan was born, they were off again and Nathan was to experience his first bit of the world strapped to Mom and Dad's back in the streets of Sevilla Spain and Tangier in Morocco with a side trip to visit ancestral roots in Ireland.

A couple years and many small trips later, a second son, Seamus was born and a trip to New York City was in the plans. As the boys stared at the lights of Times Square, marveled at the sights from the Empire State Building and delighted at riding the subway...it was clear the whole family was made to travel.

After many questions about how they travel with kids, what they pack, how they handle temper tantrums, how they do long flights, how do you afford it (no, we dont have a rich uncle)...you get the picture, an idea was born. Answer all the questions in a new video series. And share their beliefs that traveling beyond the resort can offer educational opportunities to the children, expanding their minds and their hearts and provide an amazing family bonding experience, and make it affordable... And thus the start of "Travel With Kids."

In 2004, the Roberts family began filming on location in the Caribbean for Travel With Kids Caribbean: Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands (released January 2006) . The next summer of 2005, they were off to Hawaii to film the four part Travel With Kids Hawaii series (August 2006). And in 2006, they headed south of the border to film Travel With Kids Mexico: The Yucatan/Cancun (released December 2006). In 2007, Travel with Kids spent 6 weeks in Europe filming England, Scotland, Ireland (North & South) and Paris, France. A second trip in the summer on 07 before the kids started "real school" brought the family to Florida and the Bahamas. All titles will be available by summer of 08 on Amazon and TravelWithKids.tv. Cruising with Kids is slated for our next production with Royal Caribbean. PorchLight Home Entertainment is the distributor for domestic DVD sales.
