First on a game drive safaris in Kenya’s Mara and Samburu. Among the highlights is a staring contest with a female lion with a fresh zebra kill nearby. Then he follows herds of wildebeests (someone counted 1.5 million heads) as they try to cross the Mara River and avoid the hungry crocs. He lives a day with a Masai tribe, one of the
Ancestral cultures of East Africa and dances on cow dung with them ….
Namena near Savu Savu in Fiji is the ultimate pilgrimage site for a diver.. Being on l’Aventure, Cousteau’s dive boat to get there is a religious experience. This dive site is the reason Fiji has been called the soft coral capital in the world. Strong currents bring an avalanche of nutrients and every predator show up.
St Vincent is a place for adventurous spirits of all kinds It’s is a string of 32 islands in the Southern Caribbean with primal forests, unspoiled palm fringed beaches, virgin reefs and definitely outside mass tourism, thank God.
The main island is home to a volcano, so it’s hilly and great for cycling. St. Vincent has ancient history: he explore archeology. St. Vincent is known as a sailor’s paradise. So he sails. And all without tourists in sight. Great while it lasts.

It consists of three lakes in basins on the floor of the valley, known for their high concentration of lesser flamingo, great white pelicans and migratory birds. Lake Nakuru is one of them. All the three lakes are shallow, alkaline and are hydro-geologically connected through sub surface seepage of water. The alkalinity of the three lakes supports the abundant growth of the green algae (spirulina platensis) which is the food of the lesser flamingoes which congregate in the lakes in great numbers. Thousands of pink flamingos have been living forever on Lake Nakuru but are facing environmental threats. less

This is a spectacular resort at the foot of Mount Kenya, the second tallest mountain in Africa. n 1989, the owners saw potential for a luxury tented camp in this space and set out a plan to build 40 tents with a rustic main building and facilities that would rival the best camps in the Mara and the Serengeti. The main building would house a dining room, bar and reception area for the comfort of our Guests. The grounds would feature winding paths through lush flora and boast a swimming pool and observation areas to gather and gaze at the hippos, the crocs and the incredible bird life that inhabits this part of Kenya. The Mara Safari Club opened its doors in 1989 as an offshoot of Mount Kenya Safari Club, hence the name Safari Club. The Club stands on 100 acres of land, leased from the late Senior Chief Lerionka Ole Ntutu. A tented sanctuary lying at the foot of the Aitong Hills, the Mara Safari Club is surrounded on three sides by the Mara River, on the edge of the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. The land the Club sits on was an old hunting camp that had been converted to use for photo tours with the ban on hunting in Kenya in 1976. Originally the retreat of the movie star and his friends, the Club's illustrious former members have included Winston Churchill and Bing Crosby. less
