The famous Hunter Valley wine producing region begins 70 miles North of Sidney. This is the oldest wine producing area since 1825.Good soil and ample rains make this a perfect environment for growing a wide range of grapes. Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay are the most popular wines here.
